1. Personal Planter Design

A design service geared for the dedicated do-it-yourselfer

A Personal Planter Design is a quick, economical way to a beautiful garden. It is done at Roxanna's Garden rather than me going on-site. The first step is for you to take photos of all the areas you want planted. These pictures should be taken from different angles and distances to give me a complete picture. The next step is to do a garden drawing from an overhead view. I recommend that you use large graph paper and draw it to scale using one block per foot.

Start with your house and take accurate measurements. Note anything relevant such as doors, windows, steps, walks ways and so on. Pencil in extra information such as sun, shade, slopes and soil conditions.

Once you have gathered the necessary information, bring it in to Roxanna's Garden. I
will do a professional sketch of your area and help you select the plants that are
appropriate for your garden. Roxanna's Garden plans, you plant!

2. On-site Garden Design Consultation

The on-site consultation at your home or business allows me to see your existing garden and discuss your current needs and goals and gather necessary information about your goals and your property to create a unique garden plan. Your input is an essential part of the consultation, enabling an exchange of ideas that help us to get your project moving in the right direction.

There is a $150 fee for an initial one hour consultation with a $75.00 discount applied to plants if all plants are purchased from Roxanna's Garden and the cost of plants is greater than $150.00. The balance of the fee is based on time taken to complete the design project.

3. Formal Professional Landscape Design

On-site Landscape Design and Consultation

The key to well landscaped property is having each outdoor space flow together keeping the big picture in mind. To achieve this goal an overall landscape plan is necessary.

On-site Consultation
During the visit I will be more focused on gathering information about you, your lifestyle, and your property. I will take measurements and draw a plan. There is a $150 fee for the initial consultation with a $75.00 discount applied to plants if all are purchased from Roxanna's Garden  and the cost of plants is greater than $150.00. The balance of the fee is based on time taken to complete the design project.

The Plan
A comprehensive landscape plan, based on our collaboration is drawn up. The price for the plan is based on the amount of time spent creating it. I can usually give you a general estimate range for this right after the consultation.

Upon completion of your landscape plan, I will assist you in selecting your plants.

If you choose to install some or all of the plants yourself, I can offer a local delivery service to get your plants and supplies home safely and to their approximate locations where I will then place each one for installation. I also have a list of recommended contractors qualified to professionally install your new landscape plants and other materials.


4. Full Service Professional Design and Installation

As you, your friends, neighbors and clients approach your property, the first thing they see is your landscaping. A professionally landscaped yard is a beautiful introduction to you and is a true investment and increases the value of your property.

Complete Landscape Design and Installation service is an investment in time as well. The process may require several weeks to several months to complete depending on timing, scope, and complexity. You may choose to have it installed in increments over a few weeks, months or all at once.

The Consultation
During the initial visit I will be focused on gathering information about your objectives and your property. Measurements will be taken in order to create a master plan. There is a $150 fee for the initial consultation with $75 of that applied to the cost of plants and the cost of plants is greater than $150.00. The balance of the fee is based on time taken to complete the design project.

The Plan
A comprehensive landscape plan, based on your requirements, is drawn up. A proposal for the implementation of your project is put together and you are invited to review the plan and the proposal.

The Installation
Upon acceptance, your landscape project goes to scheduling. The installation of your new landscape project will be overseen by me personally. All plants are purchased from Roxanna's Garden and tree and shrub plantings will be backed by my 1 year planting guarantee.
